I always say "a candle that's never been lit is a sad candle"! Also, to always make a wish when lighting! Why should we only use candle magic one time a year on our birthdays?! 

If you want your candles to burn their best and last the longest, it is important to let them burn for at least a couple of hours each time they're lit. The melted pool of wax should reach or get near to the edge of the container they're in.
